How do managers become leaders? The career transition which many managers face encompasses areas of personal performance which have often been ignored in favour of traditional skills and knowledge development. The behaviours leaders need to demonstrate and the competencies they need to develop extend into how individuals and teams are motivated, inspired, developed and grown. Understanding how to achieve this means understanding yourself, so Developing Leadership Potential is as much about exploring your own style, approach and behaviours as it is about working with teams and individuals.
Supporting the workshop learning will be individual coaching with each participant between the core modules. This enables the learning to be put into a real work environment context, and managers exploring the impact they can develop on a day to day basis. What is at stake is both personal and organisational performance – effective leadership can have a massive impact!
