Steve Benfield
Principal Consultant
Steve founded The Beech Consultancy in 2000 along with Glenn Malkin and is the organisation’s Principal Consultant. With a background in senior level general management and having worked in a number of sectors including Education, Health and Charity, Steve drives the success of The Beech Consultancy and works directly with some of the larger clients. He draws upon postgraduate qualifications in management and education and many years practical experience, including leading roles in the Chartered Management Institute and the Association for Coaching.
Rita Evans
Performance Development Consultant
Rita is a results-focused learning and organisational development professional with broad training, consultancy and operations experience across a range of industries, including hotels, food service, retail, and financial services, pharmaceutical and manufacturing and within the public sector. She has a proven track record of facilitating changes in behaviour and practices in rapidly changing environments. A strategic thinker, she has skills in cost-effective, leading edge learning design, delivery and evaluation.
Paul Bennett
Programme Director
Paul Bennett is Programme Director at The Beech Consultancy, heavily involved in leading and supporting programmes under the umbrella of the Centre for Performance and Organisational Development.Paul spends much of his time building relationships with clients as well as designing and delivering a range of performance development programmes. Paul is a highly experienced and qualified performance development coach, and delivers into the business a high degree of personal integrity and congruence with the values of the organisation which he uses to develop highly valued relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Peter Blackeby
Performance Development Coach
Peter has worked in the corporate sector for many years where he has held a variety of senior management positions, ranging from large scale programme management, strategic and operational business planning, organisational design through to information security management. Before joining The Beech Consultancy he was responsible for coaching and managing the performance of senior managers in Norwich Union, as well as providing leadership to a team of professional development managers. Peter now specialises in leadership and executive coaching with both individuals and teams. He believes his experience and skills enable him to add great value to clients through coaching. Peter is a Member of the Association for Coaching, holds a Post-Graduate Advanced Diploma in Coach Mentoring and a Certificate in Management Consulting Essentials.
Nikki Escreet
Performance Development Consultant
Nikki has a solid background in Change Management and Organisational Development. She has successfully worked with a number of diverse organisations. Much of Nikki’s experience has been gained in the public sector, including not-for-profit, voluntary and housing organizations. Nikki enjoys using her facilitation skills to work with clients to increase business and individual performance. She has much experience working with large groups and has worked with clients across all levels including senior management and board level. She holds a Diploma in Facilitation Skills and is also a Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.
Jan Brause
Performance Development Coach
Jan Brause is an associate Performance Development Coach who has been working with The Beech Consultancy for several years. With many years experience of senior level individual and organisational development, both in the UK and overseas, Jan offers a valuable perspective into the work of The Beech Consultancy. She is a fellow of the CIPD, and is an NLP master practitioner and has had several articles published in the professional journals. Being highly qualified in the field, Jan also has extensive experience of non-directive performance development coaching and as a leading contributor to the Association for Coaching is extremely well respected in this area.
Beverley Petrossian
Performance Development Coach
Beverley Petrossian joined The Beech Consultancy as a Performance Development Coach in 2002, and is our longest serving and perhaps most experienced associate. With many years background in management and leadership development in an often blue-chip environment, Bev has gone on to become a highly qualified and well respected performance development coach. Her knowledge and experience in this area led Bev to develop The Beech Consultancy’s Certificate in Performance Development Coaching programme – now the foundation of the organisation’s Centre for Performance Development. Bev holds key relationships with several of The Beech Consultancy’s clients including the Co-operative Group in Manchester
Christine Froebel
Performance Development Coach
Christine Froebel is an associate Performance Development Coach with the Beech Consultancy. She currently works with some of Beech’s largest clients including Corus (formerly British Steel) delivering individual coaching to senior managers. Christine has significant experience in the Health and Commercial sectors, and has delivered a wide range of management and leadership development interventions as well as strategic level support. As well as being a highly experienced development coach she is also an NLP master practitioner and holds a certificate in Transactional Analysis with the Institute of Transactional Analysis. Christine has a keen interest in developing the Supervision process to support learning organisations with coaching philosophies This year she completes her certificate in Supervision with the Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.
Julia Menaul
Performance Development Coach
Julia Menaul has over twenty years experience within Learning and Development and previously worked as a Training Manager in the private, public and voluntary sectors. She is a Fellow of both the CIPD and also the Institute of Training & Occupational Learning. Her group work focuses on leadership and particularly coaching skills for managers. As an Accredited Coach with the Association for Coaching, Julia helps managers in all sectors and at all levels to improve performance. She specialises in helping individuals to improve emotional intelligence to achieve long term development with real staying power. Julia is an experienced Coach Supervisor and has recently completed the Certificate in Supervision Skills with the Bath Consultancy Group. She is well respected within the Northwest for leading a number of professional groups for facilitators and coaches on behalf of the CIPD and the AC.
Jill Savage
Performance Development Coach
Jill is a professionally qualified and highly experienced human resources and development specialist with extensive knowledge in managemengt development, performance development coaching and psychometrics. Using NLP, TA and other relevent approaches, Jill has worked with some major industrial, professional and public sector organisations across the UK, and brings a calm, confident yet dynamic approach to the programmes she facilitates.
Hazel Tuck
Client Services Manager
Hazel joined The Beech Consultancy in 2008 and as Client Services Manager is the first point of contact for clients telephoning the business or visiting the premises. Her role has an external focus with emphasis on customer service activities i.e. diary management and planning of delivery programmes. Hazel has over 11 years experience in customer focused roles across a variety of sectors from private business to the charity / voluntary sector.
Vicky Brown
Client Services and Marketing Assistant
Vicky joined us in October 2009. Her primary responsibilities are to support the client facing activities within the business, with a particular focus on marketing our centre programmes. Vicky brings with her retail experience with a focus on customer service and is currently working towards a marketing qualification.
Helen Brooks
Organisational Development Manager
Helen has been with The Beech Consultancy for several years and plays a fundamental role in co-ordinating the strategies of the business, with particular responsibilities for Organisational Development.
Rebecca Owen
Business Performance Manager
Becky joined The Beech Consultancy in 2007 to lead on the development and implementation of the organistion's marketing and business development strategy. Becky has recently become Business Performance Manager, responsible for the financial and business planning and management information within the organisation. She also maintains responsibility for the marketing function of the organisation. Her background is with larger corporate organisations in the UK and Australia, so she brings a wealth of experience and perspective into the role.
Dave Hall
Business Development Consultant
Dave recently joined The Beech Consultancy as Business Development Consultant, bringing with him a wealth of organisational development expertise. His main focus is to lead on business development and build strong relationships with clients. Dave has 31 years experience of working in three Fire and Rescue Services in the North of England. His last role was Assistant Chief Fire Officer and Director of Personal and Organisational Development with Humberside Fire and Rescue Service.
